Here’s an explanation of how our co-op options works.
At New Morning School, our community of parents and teachers believe that our children should receive the most comprehensive and hands-on education possible. With the active involvement of parents and volunteers, our philosophy of participation has allowed us to not only minimize our families’ expenses, but to also teach our students the importance of community and cooperation.
So, to sustain this socially engaged environment, we rely on the talent and time contributions of our school’s parents and support systems. Of course, we recognize that many families have hectic schedules and limited free time, so we make sure to offer a variety of opportunities for participation in our students’ education. Parents can help clean on the weekends, aide in the classroom, work on the auction core and much more so long as they contribute what is comfortable each academic year to keep New Morning School’s cooperative nature alive.
